Burundi is preparing a complaint against Rwanda and President Kagame

The Burundi accuses indeed, Rwanda and its president to train and recruit Burundian refugees living in camps in Rwanda, in the goal of eliminating Burundian leaders and deal a blow to the institutions in Bujumbura.

“We ask for a complaint against Paul Kagame in international courts so that it reflects the actions against Burundi”, claimed the interior minister, Pascal Barandagiye, in the release.

Barandagiye ensures that Burundi has evidence that Kagame is working with Burundian opponents who want to destabilize Burundi institutions and end the regime.

One recalls that recently Bujumbura security forces arrested a exhibited and presented man as a Rwandan soldier, spy “spy” to “destabilize” Burundi. “It is an active military of the Rwandan army, his name is Corporal Rucyahintare Cyprien, number 284049 and is Gabiro camp (Northeast Rwanda)”, affirmed to the press, Pierre Nkurikiye the door Floor-police. The latter also added that Corporal “was on a mission of espionage and it was the third he was traveling in Burundi”.

But for the opposition, the minister Barandagiye constitute a diversion, the only cause of the political crisis in Burundi is, she says, the 3rd illegal term of President Pierre Nkurunziza.

The President of the Front for Democracy in Burundi (FRODEBU opposition), Leonce Ngendakumana, believes that if the fact that Rwanda has agreed to shelter the refugees on its territory is an issue for Burundi, it should go through “means authorized in negotiations with UNHCR and Rwanda to perhaps move to another country.” These refugees, he assured, “should not return to a country where there is insecurity, where there is the manhunt.”
