The time of lies, hypocrisy and conspiracy must come to an end
Every nation has its own history of struggles, with a past lled with revolutions, killings and cases of betrayal, murder and sometimes mass atrocities. When it comes to the region of the Great Lakes of Africa and the kingdoms around, the past shows masses of bloodshed and cyclic massacres.
The truth on all those human rights violations has been purposely blurred and we need to understand why the truth is distorted. Burundi being one of the small countries of that region, its nation carries severe wounds that need to be mended. Unfortunately, the diagnosis of the evil of Burundi is wrongly established through different opinions. The international community fails to understand the origin of the political sickness of the country, and consequently, their efforts have been largely in vain.
