NO REALISTIC DIPLOMATIC LEVERAGE BY RWANDA ON UGANDA – OTHER THAN PAN AFRICANISM WHICH UGANDA CAN STILL CHAMPION IN AFRICA WITHOUT RWANDA.

By Gideon Rukundo Rugari

Rwanda doesn’t have any leverage against Uganda in any real diplomatic sense. How else do you explain their celebrating an extradition treaty in the offing? When was it ever a problem?

They are not demanding we open our border for it’s open & we are not demanding they open their border beyond what constitutes an act of good neighbouriness. If they wish to make it a bargaining chip, let them know they can put up a wall if they wish. No Ugandan is planning to run from here to Rwanda.

The closing of their border obviously has a lot to do with keeping starving peasants in, to hurt the rest of us Pan Africanists and human rights activists. Paul Kagame said as much: “(We shall kill you) & see what those who make noise from outside shall do”.

I would therefore like to remind Paul Kagame that he can do whatever he wants to do today but tomorrow, there is a heavy price to pay. The entire world shall descend on you and you will think heaven has fallen.

The video below of an event that happened this morning in Kigali tells how little the Rwandan government cares about its people. How does a state possibly bring down people’s homes in this rainy season. Imagine what then happens to these families & where they will go.

If one were to investigate properly, it would be found that, it’s an area where the state has labelled residents anti Paul Kagame.

The reason for the destruction of these homes given was that they live in a wetland & the area is not planned ( slum). Reporter not sure which of the two was the reason for forceful eviction.

One lady and victim of this barbaric act questioned why many others living in wetlands in Kigali were comfortable in their homes.
