A testimony by the Man who was not only too close to the Rwandan President but who was also one of the architects of the RPF the ruling party of Rwanda will definitely give Kagame sleepless nights.
However, the man the message is intended for consumption is already addicted to the human blood and is now described by many as a political vampire. Whereas Dr Rudasingwa preaches the Jesus’s love in Mathew 5:43-48 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour and hate your enemy’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
For good Christians and of course Kagame this will sound good, but most importantly Kagame knows very well that this will not work at least in the present Rwanda where all Rwandans are intimidated and under a military surveillance by his notorious security forces. According to Frantz Fanon it is hard to change people who have a core belief, a core belief in Rwanda combined with fear, intimidation, killing, disappearance, mention any ugly act, you will get it in Rwanda “Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new
evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn’t fit in with the core belief.”
Indeed, many Rwandans are frustrated and don’t know for sure how a peaceful Revolution could be achieved when Kagame has mastered the likes or call the interests of the International community and have no any appetite to criticize the style of leadership of one of the dictators of Africa.
It is unfortunate that the preachers of democracy , human rights and other freedoms, of human being are watching when these freedoms are trumped on by the Kagame in the exchange of the promises and opportunistic interests of some individuals in the western hemisphere .
Will prayers or curses really change Kagame’s attitude?
I will argue that it is unlikely that Kagame will be changed even an iota to make him change his behavior, what is likely to change though is his method of brutality, he has amassed wealth in owning almost all the business in Rwanda. He has also managed to manipulate the Rwandan society inside and in the Diaspora. Billions of Francs have been raised in the name of AGACIRO, managed by some individuals within the RPF who are answerable to Kagame.
Could anybody tell me if anybody has managed to ask for any accountability for all the money so far collected?
Kagame has built an empire of sympathizers both in Rwanda and abroad, whenever you try to ask about that money they will label you a detractor and if you are in Rwanda you will not see the next sunrise. Therefore, don’t ask don’t tell is the song of many RPF carders, because the RPF establishment knows that the money is used to hunt or buy its political opponents inside and outside Rwanda.
The recent defeat of M23, the brain child of Kagame to fight his proxy was in Congo might change the political dynamics of the Kagame who has ruled the tiny nation of East Africa for almost two decades if he continues to support these notorious rebels. However, he is likely to give up his support as his backers have withdrawn or disowned him by sending the predator drones that have a sharp eye for all evils and will expose all his lies. It is therefore my conviction that Rwanda will not heal easily and peacefully when the evil is still on the steering wheel.
