A former RPA officer: “We built a monster not knowing that one day it will haunt and hunt us down. We are all to be blamed.”

He was well educated in great schools and institutions that Uganda would provide. A brown looking man, very calm, quite, handsome, with humanist behaviours and from a great respectable family. He was 2nd to Kayumba in DMI during the RPA/RPF struggle.

He is not implicated in any report for human rights violations/abuses – no single blood in his hands. A gentleman and a professional with ethics!! For years, he has been on agatebe (jobless) for totally refusing Kagame – DMI modus operandi, he is not allowed to leave the country or get any job in Rwanda – all his production years frustrated by the system.

He gave his youth for the country only to be betrayed by those who have hijacked the state.

As a former RPA officer once told me : “How did we get here? We built a monster not knowing that one day it will haunt and hunt us down. We are all to be blamed.”
