One of the few heroes of the grisly Rwandan genocide of the 1990s, a hotel keeper who sheltered and saved a thousand people fleeing the slaughter, has just been snatched from Dubai by President Kagame’s security police and taken to Kigali to face trial.
The Swiss-trained former manager of the Hotel des Mille Collines, Paul Rusesabagina, is a critic of the Kagame regime and now finds himself accused of financing terrorism, kidnap and murder.
