Africans Rising East Africa Regional Convening. The Africans Rising East Africa convening brings together activists, civil society members and movements from across the region in conversation about women’s leadership and empowerment, COVID-19, movement building, climate and environmental justice, and defending civic space. The theme for the convening is: Enhancing Solidarity towards Building the Africa We Want.
The conversations will help the Africans Rising movement and our members determine the progress made so far on our key commitments and outline the lessons learnt in the effort for justice, peace and dignity for Africans.
