Another day, another murder committed in daylight by Paul Kagame. Rwigara was becoming too much of a headache for the regime, dragging it in courts of “law” day in and day out. His next court appearance was scheduled for next month. As a tutsi who made a fortune under inside Rwanda under Habyarimana but used it to carefully cripple his regime, Rwigara knew too much about RPF malignant tactics that led to the 1994 genocide. Kagame couldn’t stand seeing such a figure turn against his regime. He chose to kill him, end of story.
Remember when Kagame used to come visit his aunt in Rwanda from Uganda? Assinapol would organize his trips and those of his comrades to carry out reconnaissance missions inside the country. In late 1980s when RPF was getting ready to invade Rwanda, Assinapol would sponsor cycling rallies around the country, and make sure there’s enough excitement and chaos to distract Habyara’s intelligencia from searching vehicles that transported RPF cadres while roaming around the country pretending to be part of the cycling competition.
If Kagame can murder Assinapol, Lizinde, Sendashonga, and many others, who is safe in that country? Who will he murder next? Kajeguhakwa anyone? Pasteur Bizimungu? It’s time for Rwandans to pull together and get rid of Rwanda’s murderer-in-chief, Paul Kagame.
