Another woman, Mahoro, killed by Kagame’s security forces in broad daylight in Rwanda

A 28 year old street vendor woman called Mahoro was killed today in broad daylight by a security officer in Nyabugogo, Kigali where the main bus station is located.

He was beaten to death, which caused other Rwandans in the area to demonstrate. These brave Rwandans prevented an ambulance to take her dead body fearing that it was going to disappear like it happened before when security forces killed another person.

Killing Mahoro should not surprise anybody because Kagame himself said in 2014 that his security forces will “Kill in broad daylight” those threatening the country or disobeying his orders. This killing should be investigated and whoever did it should be punished and not rewarded like it happens sometimes when Rwandans are killed by Kagame’s security forces.
