Claude Gatebuke’s thoughts on Michela Wrong’s book that will be published on March 31, 2021.

It’s been over a month since I finished reading an advanced copy of this book (nearly 500 pages) titled Do Not Disturb, with my sticky notes all over it. I have been thinking about the biggest individual lesson from it. I can sum it up this way: when you spend years creating and improving a system that kills, steals, spies, massacres; and craft a nice lie to cover it up, when the system turn on you and you try to expose it to those who believed your lies, they don’t believe you.
So stand with the truth and humanity, speak up as soon as you see injustice and treat human life as sacred as it should be. Silence in the face of injustice will lead to a similar result also. My thoughts on the book itself will be published in a review after the book is released on March 31.
