1) He happily reminded his American and British financiers who is the boss by hosting in Rwanda the man indicted for genocide – Sudanese dictator Bashir.
2) He launched his Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) now mysteriously owned by his Crystal Ventures and Prime Holdings, never mind that KCC was built by government loans.
3) He hosted the largest and richest roadshow in Africa, the African Union Summit which is attended by Who’s Who among the continental rulers.
4) He made a fortune from the African Union Summit – his Inyange Industries which holds the monopoly of bottled water, juice, and milk in Rwanda made a killing by selling thousands of these products over a whole week.
5) He showed off to fellow African rulers his Singapore of Africa and its shinning capital of Kigali – he made sure none of the guests ventured off the main road to see the real Rwanda.
