In reference of my earlier post, where I identified the newly appointed minister of Defence as a Hutu. A have since received various credible source from a former RPA/RDF records officer, a former close ADC of Maj General Albert Murasira and a former training officer at Gako military Academy.
And they have all informed me that the current minister of Defence is a Tutsi despite to have joined the army having come from FAR of Habyarimana. This contradicts what DMI is spreading around, as a sign of showing structural balance with the high command.
According to these three sources, they all told me that he arrived in Rwanda in 1994 under the command of col Bem Habyarimana, Gen Gatsinzi and Lt Col Cyiza. My sources further tell me that he was the only TUTSI from the group of those FAR soldiers that had returned from DR Congo, then known as Zaire.
This group was taken straight to Gako for retraining and later intergration in the RPA/RDF army. According to these sources, over the years, these soldiers from FAR where systematically purged.
From these sources, that where able to see DMI records at the time of Albert Murasira’s return, I can exclusively confirm that he is a Tutsi.
I DIDN’T KNOW THAT UNDER HABYARIMANA JUNTA REGIME THEY HAD TUTSIS IN THE ARMY. THE ARMY WAS SO DISCRIMINATIVE TO THE CORE. HOW DID ALBERT MURASIRA MANAGE TO BE ALLOWED FOR ARMY CADET IN THE MONO-ETHINIC ARMY OF HABYARIMANA?
It seems as a CORPORAL, I ought to leave issues of the generals to generals.
