General Kayihura Out – His boys are back in Action.

On 1st September 2018 a one Asiimwe Cillie Resident of Bukwili, Kyakwanzi District survived Kidnap by individuals who claimed belonged to Uganda Police Forces Jinja Road Office.

The men travelling in a Toyota Premio Super UAN 607V approached Mr Asiimwe Cillie and told him that they were police officers with instructions to arrest him, Asiimwe who is a farmer wondered why he was being arrested and why the local Police was not aware of his crimes, he was told that he had previously stolen money from Rwanda and this arrest was aimed returning him to Rwanda for prosecution.

Asiimwe Cillie and residents insisted they first go to local police then proceed, the OC station at the local police office asked for a police reference of the case or supporting documents but nothing was available. The OC then asked them to produce documents which where later produced but appeared forged, the OC then demanded that since it was late the suspect should spend a night in his police custody then be moved to Kampala the following day.
Meanwhile the OC station was buying time as he inquired from the DPC and RPC, his bosses ordered him to arrest the men since that case was not anywhere on police records.

As the OC station was organising their arrest the two ran off to their car and drove fast off.

Pictures of these two were taken in the OC’s office to alert other Rwandan Refugees that these men are on the run and coming to get you.
