1. Do ordinary people know why Kagame closed the border and why he’s opening it NOW?
2. Does Kagame have a choice between opening and not opening the border?
CONSIDER:
a) Effective December last year, IMF took over /is part of the day to day management of Rwandan economy. Why?
Rwanda is one of the 25 poorest countries that are unable to service their debts.
IMF-Rwanda agreement gave IMF power to takeover or get involved in day to day management of Rwandan economy until Rwanda can take over servicing of her debts.
IMF wouldn’t allow Kagame to keep Uganda and Burundi border closed. Impossible
b) Rwanda can’t survive without food stuff from Uganda. Kagame closed Ug/Rwanda border but food stuff from Uganda flows through Goma (Uganda/DRC -Bunagana border). UPDF will take over Goma very soon. When, not if, UPDF takes over Goma, first thing will probably be stopping trucks ferrying stuff to Rwanda so Kagame can open Ug/Rwanda border.
