The 2017 Rwandan elections are over before they even begin. The whole exercise of conducting the elections will begin on June 5, 2017 and close on August 4, 2017. That is just two months.
Here is the scheme as cooked by Kagame:
* From June 5 to 14, 2017, the so-called Rwanda electoral commission will be receiving applications from “presidential candidates;”
* The final list of the “candidates” will be announced on June 27, 2017;
* “Campaigns” by the “qualified candidates” will officially begin on July 14, 2017;
* “Voting” will take on August 4, 2017.
In other words, the “campaign” itself will be restricted to 20 days – from July 14, to August 3, 2017.
Meanwhile, Kagame has already closed Rwandan airspace to any would-be competitor coming from outside. The closest any of such people will ever get to Rwanda are international airports of neighbouring countries. On arrival they will not be allowed to board to Rwanda.
The Rwandan elections are already stolen.
