Some General declares a coup in an east African country. Some co-conspirators are arrested and tortured. The world is up with condemnations. The headline dominates the web.
In onother east African country, a brother to a renegade General is undergoing constant torture (don’t think of a trial despite having been in custody for four years). His crime is being born to a same father and mother to a dissident General. The world is quite.
The global mainstream media is mute. Meanwhile, in onother east African country, a dissident colonel can’t demonstrate, can’t even walk to the country’s parliament to present a petition. The world is quite. The international media is mute. A certain hero in the world of first class dictators once said that the world has no mercy; and I can’t agree more.
