Rwanda president Paul Kagame is a happy man today. I am reading this article which says that Kagame was awarded a medal by The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS). And why the award to Kagame? The article says that the medal to the president is for embracing science, technology and innovation for sustainable development in Rwanda and Africa.
Really? The article continues to state the following:
“At least 60 Rwandan scientists will exhibit their works in science and innovation at The TWAS general meeting for the next four days.”
“Rwandas President Paul Kagame receives The World Academy of Sciences TWAS medal”
So how and when did Kagame embrace science? And who are these 60 Rwandan scientists? What scientific work and innovation are the Rwandan scientists exhibiting?
Is this article some kind of joke?
