I think her objective was/is to dare RPF/A. Her message to Kagame and his RPF/A is loud and clear; ” no matter how much you oppress us, we are not holding our desperate punches … you killed my father in cold blood but guess what, we are here to stay and thirsty for freedom …”
This lady has lost everything under Kagame. Kagame demolished Diane Rwigara family’s hotel after slaughtering their father! This lady is telling Kagame ” do you want to kill me like you killed my father? Go ahead, I don’t care”
It might be difficult for Kagame to kill this lady now because the international community is beginning to put screws unto Kagame since the Clinton dynasty , his buddies, lost power in the US. Kagame is being cut to manageable size at all levels.
Of course, Kagame controls elections and he determines the number of votes he needs for his ego. I do not think this lady or any other person expects the contrary from the so-called elections in Rwanda.
Like any brutal dictator, Kagame’s major tool is sure or, brutality and creating a myth around his junta. It’s when people dare the monster that they bring an end to a dictatorship like Kagame’s. Diane Rwigara is on the right track. I am sure the ego pricked Kagame is crapping his pants.
