Kagame Has Invented A New Method Of Rigging Elections – Presidential Candidates Are Allowed Only 21 Days To Campaign In A Country Of 6 Million Voters And 30 Districts

By David Himbara

Kagame is very clever. He has invented a new method of rigging elections. According to his electoral commission, presidential campaigns will run from July 14 to August 3, 2017. That is a mere 21 days.

So how can a presidential candidate reach 6 million voters in 21 days? How does a presidential aspirant campaign in Rwanda’s 30 districts in 21 days?

A candidate would have to cover at least two districts in one day to campaign in all districts in 21 days. And each presidential candidate would need some kind of aircraft to reach two districts in one day. Make that an helicopter because there are hardly any airports in Rwanda.

Give Kagame a medal. He is a manipulative genius. At the end of the 21-day campaign, he will tell the world that Rwanda held peaceful and fair elections. The man has no shame. In reality, hardly any campaigns will have taken place, because of arithmetical impossibility. This is Kagame’s contribution – an innovative electoral rigging before campaigns even begin.
