As we reported earlier, the University Of Rwanda’s faculty and staff have not been paid their salaries for the last consecutive five months.
We are informed that strongman General President Kagame has ordered the University to pay up.
This is good and bad news. Good that people now have their salaries. Bad that it takes the head of state to solve a routine issue of salaries.
What a shame!
Meanwhile, congratulations to the professors who decided to speak up on the injustice being perpetrated on them by the regime. People in Rwanda are standing up for their rights.
