Listen to Kizito Mihigo singing about the eternal bond between the Congolese and Rwandans. That is who Mihigo was – a young man who hated warmongering in Rwanda, in DR Congo, and the region. Mihigo had a passion for a united, peaceful, prosperous and democratic Rwanda, DR Congo and Africa.
To him, the Congolese and Rwandans were one. Mihigo became widely known for these values, especially among young people.
To the Rwandan warmongering dictator, General Paul Kagame, Mihigo had to be silenced. It was a matter of time when Kagame would end the life of this genius who spread his philosophy through music.
Mihigo’s death changes nothing – he will always be the guiding light out of Kagame’s darkness.
