Kagame fired Amb. Eugene Gasana after news circulated that President Kagame and his Ambassador to the UN were involved in a paternity dispute over one of Kagame’s children. Amb. Gasana ” disappeared” when Kagame recalled him.
Kagame’s Division of Military Intelligence mouthpiece newspaper, Rusyasha, NOW claims that:
(1) Amb. Eugene Gasana ran away with a lot of money belonging to the government of Rwanda,
(2) he was spying on Kagame junta for Burundi through President Nkurunziza’s spokesperson, Willy Nyamitwe
(3) the former all powerful Ambassador is a member of Rwanda National Congress, a political party based in exile and,
(4) Amb. Eugene Gasana stole huge amount of money before he ” disappeared”.
