JOHANNESBURG – Pressure is mounting on the NPA to ensure the killers of ex-Rwandan spy boss, Patrick Karegeya, are brought to book. The former army general was murdered at his upmarket Sandton hotel in 2014.
There’s now a threat of private prosecution after the Randburg Magistrate’s Court recently found well-known suspects from Rwanda committed the crime.

But no one’s been arrested and the Karegeya family wants justice.
The case has dragged on for five years with no conclusion.
Karegeya’s family has now approached Afriforum in case the National Prosecuting Authority doesn’t act on the Randburg Magistrate’s Court’s finding.
