Somebody Help Me Understand This Gentleman – If He Is Transforming Africa, How Come Only One African President Showed Up At His Summit?
This is how Kagame’s folks advertise Transform Africa Summit:
• “Transform Africa is the leading African forum bringing together global and regional leaders from government, business and international organizations.”
• “This annual event enables them to collaborate on new ways of shaping, accelerating and sustaining Africa’s on-going digital revolution.”
Here is the thing – at the 10-12 May 2017, Kagame managed to persuade only African president to attend. That is fellow dictator from Togo – Faure Gnassinghe.
No wonder Kagame ended up receiving Mrs Jeannette Nyiramongi at the opening ceremony. There were hardly any other guests to welcome.
