That Zimbabweans did not show up massively to pay their last respect to their former leader does not mean that the late was bad as a human being; it simply means that even ‘Crocodile’ will face the same fate if he follows the footsteps of his predecessor!
What do I mean? As I always say, the problem of Africa is more spiritual than physical: The few hailing Mugabe consider him their prophet but from the Bible, Jesus instructed his disciples to dust off their feet if they are not welcome in a place.
Had been President Robert Gabriel Mugabe a god-sent leader of Zimbabweans he would have resigned instead of subjecting his people to abject poverty.
I do not condone white settlers monopolizing Zimbabweans’ land. Non, but I will not either condone Mugabe who prayed the land card after he had realized it is the lonely appealing card he had remained with; without weighing its long term consequences on his people. That is demagogy!
Laymen should be reminded that sectarians serve one master even when they may look enemies in public! Don’t be surprised Mugabe is in the same bed with the white settlers; the same way Mandela, Mbeki, Zuma and Ramaphosa are with the Apartheid!
