KAGAME vs BURUNDI, AGAIN.

By Charles Kambanda

While addressing a “security” community meeting in Bugesera, General Mubarak said; ” Effective immediately, no civilian is allowed in Gako forest … An attack from Burundi and capture of Bugesera is imminent. Gako forest borders with Burundi.

a) Is Rwanda at war with Burundi?

b) For a long time, Kagame have been chest-thumbing that nobody can attack Rwanda. However, the army now says an attack is imminent.

c) Just last week, Kagame said; ” if you want to shoot me, shoot me…” Why is the infamous bloody junta making resignation and suicidal statements? Why NOW?

c) Communities around Gako forest depend on the forest for firewood and grazing. How will the poor communities stay away from the forest, their “umbilical cord”?

d) ” We shall kill anybody found in that forest …no need to arrest and hand over such people to Police …we shall kill you immediately”. Per Gen. Mubarak. These are inappropriate and criminal statements for a senior army officer to make during a community meeting. Does Gen Mubarak appreciate the legal consequences of his speech?
