It appears that the European Union has nothing to congratulate the Hitler of Africa for; not even his 98.9% ” victory”!! Avoiding to mention the incumbent president’s name or his office in a ” congratulatory” message, after landslide ” victory” is unusual in diplomacy.
a) Is Kagame such a political liability to the European Union that the EU official statement can’t mention his name?
b) Why did the EU avoid mentioning Kagame or his office, in an official message that should have focused on Kagame’s victory?
c) What does this mean for Kagame, whose major sponsor was the European Union?
