HOW POSSIBLE IS IT TO LIVE WITH SUCH A NEIGHBOUR? He accuses us of washing to govern Rwanda, yet he is the one who is telling us who should and shouldn’t be our security officers. He wants Uganda to take away citizenship of Ugandans and brazenly instructs his diplomats to read out a passport number as though it were a Rwandan one that was confiscated by Uganda.
He accuses Uganda of closing the Rwanda border even when there is no jurisdictional access to Rwanda. He condemns Rwandans who are eager to come to Uganda calling Uganda an enemy state..
But most interestingly he explains how the border closure was an economic embargo which made Uganda lose $200M to $300M. He calls on the private sector to wake up and provide goods and services to Rwandans, meanwhile, Rwandans are free to come to Uganda, do business and return to Kigali on Rwandair, most times take money that is injected in Rwanda’s economy. Clearly the border will never be fully opened especially for Ugandan goods and services.
He wants us to hand over Ugandan citizens to Rwanda to be killed like he says he has done to others in his speech…..
Is he planning to change his opinion by the time he meets President Museveni at Katuna or does he think Uganda has now given up her interests?
