These guys give an impression that the so-called donors are not number one beneficiaries of their so-called aid!!! I am not sure that will bend the gov of Burundi, I doubt! The EU will be surprised how Burundi’s annual budget will function without the EU money.
I am reliably informed that while the EU refused to finance elections in Burundi, Burundi’s election were actually over financed ( surplus)
Some individual EU countries remain ” partners” of Burundi, too. I guess this will end up into another round of defeat for Luis Michel and his son Charles Michel !!
If Burundi was able to defeat the US/EU planned coup, I guess both the US/EU should now concentrate on the changing world order and think of new strategies that work.
Some EU and some Washington foreign policy strategists must be crazy!!
