Paul Kagame in UK looking for money. He arrived quietly last night. He is trying to meet Hon Priti Patel the minister in charge of Secretary of State for International Development. Hon Priti Patel was under fire during Rwanda elections in Rwanda by UK media regarding money that UK was pouring in Rwanda’s coffers.
We urge the British media to keep pressure on Hon Priti Patel and the UK government not to release the remaining cash for 2017 – 2018. Instead, they need to tell President to stop torturing Rwandans (HRW Report released yesterday) and urge him to release Diane Rwigara and her family along with other political prisoners.
