President Yoweri Museveni Visits Fred Rwigema’s Mom In Her Humble Home In Kigali

In Rwanda to attend the African Union Summit in Kigali, M7 found time to visit folks whose departed sons contributed to Uganda’s bush war of 1980-1986.

M7 visited, among other families, Fred Rwigema’s mom.

These visits no doubt must have upset Rwandan strongman Paul Kagame who would rather that the world entirely forgets heroes such as Rwigema. In Kagame’s world, only he matters. Former comrades belong to jails, death and exile.

Fred is now smiling up in heaven with appreciation that his former commander M7 has not forgotten his (Rwigema’s) contributions to the Ugandan struggle.

Wonderful.
