I want to let my friends know that being fanatical is not what patriotism is! I have feelings on number of jobless youth flooding the region abusing the norms and values of our culture due to poor governance of irresponsible leaders. I write this in reactions of the failing policies in agriculture of our heritage taken as the backbone of our economy and fellow who had chance to move in all her corners. Back to the challenges of pastoralists of Eastern Rwanda like of west,south,North and central since 1995 back I don’t have enough knowledge.
Our farmers were not lucky because most of the ministers were handling them as enemies to die with their animals. This region its where western methods of burning cows was common in 1999 and 2000! These people and their animals had no water since 1995 to date they use seasonal swamps of Kagera and muvumba for domestic use and their animals! Its where milk used to be poured on state orders exactly the way farmers crops are being uprooted in northern province! The government didn’t just stop these people and their animals to cross to Uganda and Tz but were being shoot on state orders!
I want to blame the government of Rwanda lead by kagame which invests in buildings of hotels and airline forgetting that all people going to hotels would need food ,milk, honey and other agro related products!
I want to blame this regime which invests in those two things forgetting that having empowered farmers is away nationals would have purchasing power and taxation base and can be local customers to the two.
I want to condemn the regime of Kigali whose policies of aggression and confronting aid agencies blaming them for freezing their nationals taxes that this aid you enjoy comes from farmers of Europe and America, Australia and Canada yet our domestic farmers are good to die according to the regime.
I want to tell the regime of dictator President Kagame that hotels and planes would be used by these farmers you give no value since it’s a reality in aid supporting nations.
- With agriculture poor peasant have managed to modernize what fails the government to give them facilities they need?
Mr. President if you can miss one Rwanda day in Europe you can build enough milk collection centers bigger than of Brokeside dairy of your friend Kenyatta! - What is our purpose of having missions and cooperation in developed nations if our presence there or our cooperation is not best in agricultural infrastructure development?
Mr president how can they when your every day briefing is of hunting us for extermination and budget which could have done that noble work of lifting our agriculture is given goons to kill us. - How does Rwanda promise nationals bright future if her policies are not of developing agriculture into taxable venture of highest returns?
- Mr. President who would do it when thinking positively and independent mind is treasonable?5. How can it be since your appointing authority does not need critical and independent thinkers?
Your Excellence the dictator of our heritage help us as you help yourself as owner of Rwanda inc we get creative minds in our agriculture it will benefit your dairy inyange and our nationals will have purchasing power to afford your hotels ! 6. How will Rwanda address the issues of youth employment when she does not look on modernizing agriculture for high production, looking at developing services from that sector,doesn’t consider investing in minimizing post harvest loses of her famers?
Since 1995 in highest pick of milk production and other agro products in all parts of the country farmers were pouring their produces due luck of storage facilities or coolers but are they as expensive as the budget of the airtime and home mantainance of your house boys and girls named state ministers? I call them house boys and girls because they have no grains of statesmanship in themselves and that is why you abuse them.
