The dismissal of Gen. Rutatina from the army and lack of deployment in the Military didn’t come as a surprise being a brother in law to Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa and a former Kagame killing machine.
However, what is surprising though is that dismissal and unemployment was not enough to Kagame, he wanted to show Gen. Rutatina that he is not immune from the real means of death he used to administer on his behalf to those suspected of disloyalty.
The killing and elimination strategy by Kagame started immediately after the death of Gen. Fred Rwigema the RPF founder and Rwandan hero who led the return of Rwandan refugees in 1990.
Immediately after his death, his ghost haunted Rwandans, because all his second in command officers were mysteriously killed and the remaining Col. Adam Wasswa was murdered in Lukaya Uganda in a staged accident.
Towards the end of the RPF struggle when Kagame envisioned the defeat t of the EX-FAR that was certain, he slowly started to eliminate some influential commanders like Vedasite Kayitare (Intare) followed by his former operation commander Col. Stephen Ndugute Kalisoliso. As if that was not enough for him, more influential commanders like Col. William BAGIRE, Col. Wilison Rutayisire just to mention a few, were mysteriously or brutally murdered.
Slowly as Kagame started to get grip on power he has been absolutely corrupted by the power by eliminating his close allies even who defended him in the difficulty times. These include Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa, Col. Patrick Karegeya and Gen. Sam Kaka his first Army Commander after genocide in 1994. Indeed, many people have forgotten Gen. Sam Kaka who has been reduced to a simple unknown to even his comrades.
It’s now an open secret that almost 3/4 of former RPF senior commanders have been eliminated, Kagame has set the stage for gaining absolute power by employing police or military repression against potential opposition elements within the RPF Party. The machinery of coercion had previously been used only against opponents of RPF, not against party members themselves. As already mentioned above the numbers who have become victims of Kagame’s political paranoia is increasing and growing day by day.
The RPF civilians and cadres are neither spared, like Charles Muligande, Tharscisse Karugarama, Asiel Kabera, Pasteur Bizimungu, Kajeguhakwa, Seth Sendashonga , and Faustin Twagiramungu who without his vocal and stamina against the government of late Habyarimana the RPF victory was unthinkable.
There is no doubt that Kagame is turning against his former colleagues because he is either suspecting them of potential challenger or likely to resist his family project. Like his mentor just across the border in Uganda who has been massively resisted by his former military officers or political allies.
Behind the presidential curtains has obtained incredible and reliable information that Kagame is planning massive sweeping across all the RPF historical so that he consolidates his grip on power. The list is long and the next victims are Gen. Patrick Nyanvumba who is the current RDF Chief, Gen. James Kabarebe, and Gen. Charles Kayonga
According to our reliable sources these senior RPF historical are undermining his family project of succession. Unlike the rest of the new entrants to the RPF who are very submissive and have no objection of Kagame being succeed by his wife or his daughter, the historical have vehemently advised Kagame not do so.
Indeed, Kagame’s sub-project before he announces his family project to the RPF caucus will be to eliminate all the likely potential opposition to it and will then present it to the likes of Rucagu, Bamporaki, Bosenibamwe, Musa Fazil, Cristopher Bazivamo.
Kagame has become unchallenged leader of both party and state and is likely to increase his terror and killing machine within the ranks of the Police and RDF. This is vindicated by the recent murder of the Police Chief in Musanze and later killing the suspect instead of arresting him to ascertain the motive of the murder.
The RPF system of elimination is not a new phenomenon, they will always order what people call Kamikaze (this is suicide killing used by the Japanese military in Second World War II). The killing machinery will order the killing knowing that the one who has been sent to the mission will in turn be killed; it’s a mission of no return.
In fact that’s how most senior RPF officers have been eliminated, the likes of Gen. Dan Gapfizi who was killed in a staged car accident in Mutara or Col. Wilison Rutayisire (Shaban) who the RDF said, he committed suicide.
Kagame is determined to proceed to purge all the RPF party ranks and to terrorize the entire country with widespread arrests and executions. Indeed his Great Terror includes the notorious show trials of his former Top Security Chief Col. Tom Byabagamba and Gen Frank Rusagara who shamelessly were sentenced to 21 years respectively.
We don’t know who is next, but certainly make no mistake, the next is in the queue and will sooner rather than later be eliminated using any of the tactics that have seen People like Gen. Rutatina being doctored, his next execution will be staged that he was trying to grab a gun from the prison guard like Dr. Gasakure or just he was trying to escape and shot. Those who read the Bible should read Jeremiah 5:21
