I followed the race. I interact with different diplomats from Africa, North America and Europe. Uganda led the campaign for Kenya. Tanzania played a significant role in the campaign for Kenya’s bid. The only country in the region that did not campaign for Kenya was Rwanda. Did Rwanda vote for Kenya? I wouldn’t tell with absolute certainty because it was a secret ballot vote. Did Rwanda campaign with or for Kenya? NO.
