When multiparty began in Rwanda in 1991, many opportunists joined opposition parties on the side of the RPF blindly without knowing what was on his hidden agenda and they ended up in regret.
Let’s take some examples: Seth Sendashonga and Col. Théonèste Lizinde helped the RPF with all their might but they were rewarded assassination in Nairobi in 1997.
A year later, Prime Minister Faustin Twagiramungu got exiled and in 2001 his MDR party was suppressed.
Then the RPF accelerated his policy of divide and rule toward opposition parties. Many fighters of the FDLR were corrupted and repatriated.
In the early 2010s, RPF used Mukabunane to split the PS Imberakuri of Bernard Ntaganda.
Last year, the same F. Twagiramungu and T. Rwaka were used by RPF to cause chaos in FDLR when they created CNRD.
The RNC also divided in two.
Truly opposition in opposition can’t achieve any goal. Given Kagame’s wiles, he’s already elected before the election day.
Think up of a new synergy or we lose all.
