The police in Rwanda have confirmed that they’ve arrested an opposition leader, Diane Rwigara, and members of her family. She faces accusations of forgery and tax evasion. She wanted to stand in August’s presidential elections, but was barred by the electoral authorities. Ms Rwigara’s brother Aristide spoke to Newsday’s Nkem Ifejika.
