Rwandan Propaganda about development that is not there should stop.

CORPORATE LIKE MEETINGS IN NEW YORK WHEN RWANDANS ARE STARVING TO DEATH

The Singapore of Africa is singing Kiboko songs as it forces poor and hungry peasants in the countryside to pay Mutuelle de Santé ( Annual Health Insurance premiums).

These unfortunate souls assured the local leaders, they didn’t have food, and Health Insurance was the very last thing on their agenda.

The district chairman proceeded to round up all defaulters, took them to an open field, made them lie down, removed their shoes and candles and exacted good Kibokos, including to an 80 year old who could not believe what was happening to her.

She answered, that she didn’t have family but she was even not able to find enough food for herself.
The Chairman removed her sandles ( might as well have handled her indecently) and proceeded to hit the sole of her feet.

For an economy that is supposedly growing at 12%, this shouldn’t be happening.
President Amin is the one who said his Ministers were lying to him and then said ” The truth has now come out”.

I think Rwandan Propaganda about development that is not there should stop. Those people have nothing to eat. They survive day by day and on many occasions, they go hungry for days.

The first line of health living is food. Why beat up an old woman who is clearly, not only energy but protein deficient. Such a woman would never recover a pneumonia if she got one. The best, her country can do for her is to let her wait for her day and die in peace and she doesn’t have long to live.

A pneumonia, a Malaria attack, she wouldn’t survive, considering the delay to get care or if she looks for herbal remedies. Her neighbours are only helpful to the extent they get to know she died and she is given a decent burial.

Sounds sadistic but it’s the plain truth. I only hope her fortunes and that of her neighbours can change.
