Rwandans Are Escaping Total Lockdown And Hunger Through Swamps Back To Their Rural Villages

On March 21, 2020, General Paul Kagame government imposed a total lockdown to fight Covid19. Rwandans were ordered to work from home. Shops and markets were closed. But Rwanda is a poor country in which people mostly earn daily wages in agriculture, wholesale and retail, automobile and motorcycles repairs, and the informal sector.
