Like one of the readers who commented on what these musicians told the Newtimes, all of them should not be afraid of saying what’s right and defend Kizito Mihigo instead of throwing a stone at him. Tomorrow it will be one of them. You can read the story in Kagame’s newspaper online in the article called “Musicians speak out on Kizito Mihigo” but the comments from regular Rwandans posted after this article tells us on which side most of people are regarding Kizito Mihigo’s fabricated charges.

All of you should be standing for what’s right. Deep inside y’all know Mr. Mihigo is innocent but you won’t speak out. History will judge you and God will hold you all accountable. I speak my damn mind… Reply | Close
Is a confession or mere allegations amount to a conviction? Stop speculating you artists. There is nothing in the article that indicates “evidence” as required by law! You should have waited for due process to take its course before wondering into unnecessary comments! Reply | Close
And Mr Ford, how can you make that statement. “Deep inside you”, how do you arrive at that conclusion that he is innocent? Aren’t you being biased? In law he “is presumed innocent” till proven guilt. There is a difference between the two. Reply | Close
KIZITo Mihigo is Innocent , all those are just speculations , there is no where he admitted of planning grenade attacks , history will tell you !! Reply | Close
It is amazing to see how people just defend KIZITO when himself accept what he is accused. Police played the transparency just to allow everyone to see it. Ignorance it is what is all about, don’t judge book by the cover Reply | Close
I wish Kizito should replay his music and understand what his messages are about; he will discover that he is a double minded person. But I hope that with what happened to him, he will understand well the darkness (UMWIJIMA) he was singing and take decision to come out of it and stay in light. Young Rwandans, don’t sell your destiny for a plate of stew like Esau (Jacob’s brother). Reply | Close
I find this issue about Kizito Mihigo a farce, ikinamico just.. Some things do not add up. how the police quickly organised a press briefing… Time will tell!!! Reply | Close
you people you are “NTA MUNOZA” Had the police delayed in presenting them to the press, you could say they are fabricating the story, now that they are quick to handle the case, you it is a farce. kizito confessed himself. what else? did you see any signs of torture on his body? Reply | Close
This is a farce. Reply | Close
Kizito confessed yes. Many of us could too in one way or another. For instance he regrets having been involved into hateful conversations on Whatsapp, Skype and Email. How many Rwandans don’t have friends and/or relatives who might ask them about how things are in Rwanda? Let’s just pray because none of us is spared from such allegations. Least we can control our conversations and just pray. I can never condemn the person that Kizito is not think in line with the allegations. I’ll wait for his trials! Reply | Close
Let the authorities do their job, the police, the prosecutor, the attorney and the judge. This premature publicly shaming and naming doesn’t strenghten the belief in an independent jurisdiction. It is finally up to the judge to give in all openness, an objectif, independent and measured judgement. W’ll see. Reply | Close
May be tomorrow is you. Be careful guys. Reply | Close
You all know that Kizito is innocent, but no one wants to stand up for justice!!!!!!!! Today it is him, tomorrow will be you guys!!!!!! Reply | Close
