To most people Sunday is a day of going to the churches, a day of salvation, a day of inner self-consciousness as one mirrors on a just finished week. On Sunday, reflection becomes pondering thread to our outer humility. The humility to recognise and accept the mistakes you may have made, the strength to say sorry to those you may have wronged and the humbleness to appreciate your weaknesses as a human.

In his book Finding Light in a Dark World, James E. Faust noted that, “A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness. It is an expression of humility. It is a foundation for the development of such virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being.”

The beauty of recognising your inner mistakes, apologising to those you have wronged can be equated to the beauty of democracy; beauties which the people of Rwanda have been denied due to a junta regime which doesn’t recognise its mistakes or vampirism.

For generations, pro-democratic voices have always campaigned for democracy in respective corners of the world to the extent of putting their lives in harm’s way at the hands of criminal rulers? All this is done for the beauty of democracy and democratic processes. The modesty that democracy brings is exceptionally heavenly. The humility of political organisations and People of a particular country to have a say in the affairs of their state; the showing of tolerance and respect for divergent ideas. These are exceptional!

In this century, everyone expects Rwanda to be a modern functional state that is governed through liberal democracy which is constructed in respect of the citizenry who are free to elect there leaders. But the opposite is true inside Kagame’s enclave.

Free, fair and regular elections empower citizens to be the master over political elites if left on its own will pursue despotic tendencies. In case of Rwanda, elections have been designed to ensure reproduction of RPF vampires, militarization of the state and undemocratic rules based on protecting one man – criminal Kagame.

Under the current RPF framework, there is no single democracy, opposition or those who have divergent views are been thrown into prison on daily basis, others maimed or killed in cold blood. People, on daily basis, are being abducted in broad day light, with some disappearing for good, tragic stories have been told about midnight knocks on the door by strangers and that would be the last time a family saw their fathers, mothers, family members or friends.

During the upcoming scam election of this year, the violence which is being meted against innocent civilians is flaring up. DMI thugs have geared their brutal tactics, as Dianne Rwigara’s supporters have evidenced. Dissenting voices is being crushed by all means!! The utterances of free speech, democracy and human rights have no place under criminal Kagame’s enclave.

To Kagame, the junta has an obscured idea that he owns the citizen, the electorate have no right to have any single choice. The only ideology and policy articulation must be those of RPF or it’s chief ideology – Paul Kagame. Citizens have no single channels of addressing their fears, interests or aspirations. Criminal Paul Kagame behaves like the creator of Rwandans. Thus, expecting unwavering loyalty from his creation.

Allowing citizens to exercise their right to choose should be MUST. Criminal rulers like Paul Kagame must accept or be forced to accept that in modern society, elections make an integral part of a constitutional democracy; their sanctity must therefore be preserved by all means.

In Rwanda, authoritarianism and dictorship have resulted in catastrophic results developing into armed conflicts, death, genocide and permanent instability. And the status quo of coercion, intimidation, incarceration, disappearance and killings in Rwanda are leading the Country into unprecedented period.

By undermining the rights of people to participate, violence will be eminent. Regime brutality will not continue unchallenged. The junta regime’s activities of undermining fellow citizens’ right to join or participate in activities of political parties of their choice, soon will lead to it’s eventual down fall and this is not far. In Rwanda, we are witnessing a train to it’s eventual crush.

For those who can understand Kinyarwanda dialect, the clip below demonstrates the level of fear in Rwanda. A society where mistrust rules, the junta has destroyed the existence of a normal society. WE ARE ALL AFFECTED BY THIS!
