What Diane Rwigara & her family are going through is a form of psychological torture, feeling that your not free even outside prison. This is incarceration on the outside.

Last time, they used police male peverts to molester the Rwigaras while being taken – produced in court. Due to social media outcry, the junta government has changed the tactic. Today morning, at around 8 AM Rwandan time, they now used female police officers.

For those with no military or security background will think this behaviour is normal. Whether using male or female officers, the objective is still the same. In security it is known as close confinement, squeezing the person while taking out the space around him/her. This is a form of psychological torture, feeling that your not free even outside prison. This is incarceration on the outside.

Personal space is important for human being, and once removed, it affects the targeted person – psychologically.

Even outside, they are making sure that the Rwigaras feel that they are still in prison. They totally don’t need those junta police officers peverting them when they are handcuffed.
